Clearing Up and Getting Together

We were recently sent some great photos of a group of ATI participants and keyworker staff from Aspire-Igen in Scarborough.  The group of mums and children spent a warm Saturday session cleaning up at the beach front, ‘connecting’ and having some fun.
Jeni Golder is the Lone Parent Mentor:
“Everyone had a fantastic day, the mums and the kids did not know one another and as you can see from the photos we were a close group.
We are looking at doing it again next month as it was such a sucess! This is the best part about this project  –  being able to bring people together and tackling isolation”
Action Towards Inclusion (ATI) is a £7m programme for the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding LEP area to allow a new partnership of over 50 organisations to support community members who are furthest away from work and training.
The three year project is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund.
