Your Consortium is made up of a dynamic ‘family’ of organisations with a wide range of different core activities, community focus and specialist skills.
The number of members delivering on programmes changes over time and it would be impossible to outline all of our partners at any one time.
We aim to highlight a particular partner once a quarter and this time round we’ve picked Veterans Woodcraft based in Richmond.
Project – ESF Community Grants
ESF Community Grants are part of the European Social Fund (ESF) programme and the aim of the fund is to help unemployed people progress towards employment through access to learning and training opportunities.
Funded activities are aimed at unemployed individuals aged 18 years and over from the hardest to reach communities.
The Clock is a social action charity based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. It delivers a range of support to young people and adults in the local community and has social objectives to increase employability, improve social cohesion and improve well being.
The Clock have been part of the recent ESF Community Grants programme in North Yorkshire and the funding has allowed them to provide one to one support to adults in the local community who are looking for employment. They have been very successful in getting local people into paid employment and offering IT support to people who need help.
